Echoes: Intergenerational Project
Multiple Dates - Dancers - 13-19yrs & Youth hosts - 15-25yrs
We're excited to share information on Echoes: Intergenerational Project summer tours, offering young people the chance to take part in a unique and rewarding experience – completely free of charge.
This summer, we will be hosting two movie-themed tours across South Holland, bringing together young people and older residents through dance, music, conversation, and shared memories.

What is Echoes?
Echoes is an intergenerational project that brings young people and older adults together through dance, music, and meaningful conversation. Participants will:

Learn and perform a themed dance routine

Facilitate intergenerational discussions centred around movies

Encourage residents to participate in music and movement activities
-
Build confidence, communication skills, and leadership experience
Create lasting memories and meaningful community connections
Participating in intergenerational projects not only benefits older residents but also enriches the lives of young people by providing valuable experiences that promote personal growth, empathy, confidence, and community awareness.
This summer's programme marks the third tour delivered in partnership with Adults Move Lincolnshire CIC this year, and we're excited to continue creating opportunities for generations to connect through music, movement, and shared experiences.

The Zone Performance Opportunity -11-18yrs
We have been invited to perform at The Zone in Spalding on Wednesday 26th August. The Zone is a free pop-up youth space created by Zest Theatre, offering creative activities, performances and opportunities for young people to connect. (Zest)
Rehearsals - Street Dance
20th, 21st & 24th August – 6.00–8.00pm
🍕 Pizza dinner will be provided at the final rehearsal on the 24th August.
Performance Day – Wednesday 26th August
Arrival: 1.45pm
Performance & workshops: 2.00–4.00pm
Students will perform as part of the event and also have the opportunity to take part in the Street dance workshops led by Abbi from Diamondz Dance.
Transport: Any student participating in Echoes on Wednesday 26th August will receive free transport to and from The Zone event.
